Epidemiology Studies

(a) A project on “Prevalence on pulmonary TB and infection in Tribal population of Madya Pradesh” was undertaken by Regional Medical Research Centre for Tribal (RMRCT) Jabalpur. The co-investigators from TB Research Centre (TRC) provided consultancy services in preparing the protocol, sample size estimation, sampling procedure and trained the staff of RMRCT in census, symptom elicitation, sputum collection in the field, sputum microscopy, data management and in computerization of the data.

(b) The project on “Survey on prevalence of pulmonary TB in Wardha district” undertook by Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Wardha, was provided technical assistance on sample size estimation, sampling procedure, selection of sample and in training the field staff, X-ray readers, Statistical assistant and Data Entry Operator by the co-investigators from TRC.
